OUR BENILDEAN INCLUSION STORY

Center for Inclusive Education
January 28, 2021

Our Center was established in 2015 under the Office of the President to address De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde’s (Benilde) goal of creating an inclusive community.

Officially transferred under the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academics in 2020, our mandate is to make Benilde an inclusive environment for its members by collaborating with different stakeholders to ensure the elimination of barriers to inclusion.

Rooting from the College’s Vision-Mission, we drafted our statement to serve as a guiding principle, not only for our members, but also for the Benildean Community. Our Vision-Mission states:

We commit to the vision of a “Benilde for All” by working with the Benildean community and being of service to its members as they reach their full potential in order to build a just and humane society.

Now in our sixth year, we are committed more than ever to ensure that Benilde is an inclusive environment, both physically and digitally. We will do this by doing what we do best - collaborating with the Benildean Community and moving #TogetherTowardsInclusion.
